At PGL Beyond, we have committed and passionate colleagues who want to support our purpose and give back to their local communities.
As part of our giving framework, each centre and support office has a nominated charity that all colleagues at that location fundraise for.
One location with a strong connection to their charity is our Blackpool support office, who work hard all year round to collect donations and funds to help local families who need it the most.
For the festive period, colleagues in Blackpool have banded together and collected approximately £125 worth of food consisting of tinned meat and vegetables, enough for 30 hot meals.
Trollies filled to the brim with donations
The team has also used a £250 pot boost donated by PGL Beyond to purchase in-demand items for the foodbank, including tuna, beans, and spaghetti.
This food has been donated to the foodbank in time for Christmas and combined with other donations including soups at half term, Easter Eggs and advent calendars, brings Blackpool’s 2025 donations of food and funds to over £1,000.
