With safety the key priority across PGL Beyond, we have always set out to provide the safest environment for young people who use our services.
We were therefore delighted to discover, that following an independent inspection , PGL Travel has been judged as compliant with the British Standards Institute PAS 5222 – Safeguarding Children in Out-of-School settings.
PGL is the first outdoor education provider to achieve this standard, which recognises organisations that implement a robust child safeguarding framework, including appropriate governance, policies, processes and procedures.
“We have made a huge effort to improve safeguarding at PGL Beyond and I am personally committed to elevating standards across all out-of-school settings, including other outdoor activity centres,” said PGL Beyond CEO Anthony Jones.
Our CEO Anthony Jones and Head of Safeguarding & SEND Gemma Roberson recently received the official accreditation from BramahHR Ltd, which along with our voluntary Ofsted registration is further external acknowledgement of our commitment to ensuring the safety and protection of our young guests at all times.
