Renewable Electricity Procurement
At PGL Beyond we promote a culture of using less energy and improving efficiency across our operations. We monitor our usages through our Energy Management System (EMS) to actively track energy consumption, identify opportunities to reduce usage, and manage utility costs effectively.
This focus on reduction supports our wider decarbonisation ambitions by lowering our overall carbon footprint and helping drive continual improvement. Energy-related KPIs are monitored and reported on a quarterly basis to track performance and support informed decision-making.
During 2025 across the UK and France all our electricity was purchased from renewable sources. Please find attached the Renewable Electricity Guarantee of Origins (REGO) for 2025. Our electricity has continued to be sourced renewably through 2026 but REGOs are not available until our energy providers have completed the necessary reconciliations for 2026.

Rewilding
We have committed dedicated areas for rewilding at locations throughout the UK and France, supporting natural ecosystems and biodiversity.
Our rewilding approach is governed by our Rewilding Policy, which outlines our objectives and management principles. Our General Managers at each of our activity centres are responsible for maintaining these areas.
We’re proud to say that our rewilding footprint stabilised in 2025 and remained the same as the space recorded in 2024 and is standing at 399,113.94. This is equivalent to 55 football pitches – based on a average football pitch measurement of 7,140 square metres.

PGL Breakthrough Fund
The Breakthrough Fund provides financial support to disadvantaged pupils. This includes those eligible for Pupil Premium funding, to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent young people from experiencing our residential experiences.
The Breakthrough Fund offers different levels of support based on the level of need within a school community:
- Free of charge residential trips
- 50% funded places
- 30% funded places
This flexible approach helps ensure that support reaches the schools and pupils who need it most. The fund can be applied for at the time of booking. Please see details of the level of support the Fund offered during calendar year 2025 below:

Charitable Giving – Reachout
Our community and partnership programme known as Reachout includes:
Volunteering – PGL Beyond colleagues are eligible for 20 hours of in work volunteering time each calendar year to support good causes local to our centres and/or that support children and young people.
Fundraising – each year our support offices and activity centres nominate an charity that they will raise funds for. All PGL Beyond nominated charities are also eligible for match funding up to £1000, further boosting our charitable donations.

All new suppliers are required to review and sign our Supplier Code of Conduct and Ethics, which sets out our expectations on areas including business ethics, human rights, environmental responsibility, health and safety, and ethical marketing, helping ensure suppliers align with our values and standards.
Carbon mitigation (Tours brands - NST, Esto, StudyLink Tours)
We work with Carbon Footprint Ltd to support carbon mitigation through independently verified climate projects. In 2025, our group funded the mitigation of 3,700 tonnes of CO₂ through verified projects and supported the planting of 3,700 trees in UK school grounds, helping to encourage local biodiversity and future carbon sequestration.
